The Nuts and Bolts of Client Service Agreements
The Nuts and Bolts of Client Service Agreements
Every single business owner should have and use a client service agreement. It should be used not only for liability purposes but in a preventive way to set forth your business process rules and procedures (ie. scheduling, cancellation, payment policies). In this seminar we will discuss why these agreements are important, what they should include, and why having a strong and personalized one vs. a random google search one matters.
Presented by Michael Jonas of Rational Unicorn Legal Services.
The More You Glow seminar series shines light on legal topics and other professional services. Join us for some enlightening events!
____________
For our 2020 The More You Glow series, we are introducing “Pay What You’re Able to Pay” Pricing to reach more of our community members. Please pay what you are able - whether that is $0, $10, or $20 - using the Eventbrite ticketing platform.

Portland Ruby Brigade - Ruby Tuesday
Due to space limitations this event has a hard cap of 60 attendees. We're also going to need to submit a list of attendees to security ahead of time so it's vital that you RSVP if you're planning to attend. With that in mind please don't RSVP if you're not certain you can make it, as we expect we'll end up turning people away for a seat you're not planning to fill.

Our second speaker of the evening will be the new/old organizer of PDX.rb Jonan, with an update on the present state of PDX.rb and the Ruby community at large as well as some exciting future plans for our community. You won't want to miss it.

Come be social and make some new Ruby friends, we're looking forward to seeing you there!

Coffee w/ Co-Founders (Portland Startup Week Edition)
Limited Capacity seats available

Portland Startup Week is a great chance to meet other founders. So it makes sense that we would put a Coffee w/ Co-Founders together during this special week. And for this event, we're going back to our roots and meeting at a local coffee shop.

About Coffee w/ Co-Founders: As a business owner you are faced with many challenges. You're forced to make decisions every day that could make or break your business. Coffee w/ Co-Founders is a way to network with other Entrepreneurs to allow free flowing information with the intent to collaborate and help each other. So often we're challenged and there's very little we can do to express our challenges with the people we work with or the people we care about. Think of Coffee w/ Co-Founders as your own personal support group for business owners. We're all here to help!

Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women.
